Each year, US News and World Report releases their list of Best Cars for the Money. The Kia brand is excited to announce that two of the vehicles in their fleet have been named the winners of their segment. The Kia Soul won the compact car segment and the Kia Sorento won in the 3-row SUV segment. Want to know more about this list and these vehicles? Keep reading for additional information.
US News and World Report recognizes vehicles in 20 categories. To decide which vehicles will win, US News and World Report looks at safety, reliability, value and industry expert opinions.
“We’re honored that U.S. News named the Soul and Sorento winners within their respective categories for 2017,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president, product planning KMA. “The entire Kia model line – including our iconic urban passenger vehicle and three-row SUV – offers a winning blend of sophisticated design and user-friendly technology with a consistent emphasis on value.”
US News cited the fact that both vehicles present excellent long-term value as a reason why they were honored. For the Kia Soul, they liked the modern interior design and the mass amounts of space for both passengers and cargo. For the Kia Sorento, they liked the technology, fuel economy and of course the available third-row seating.
