Kia recently announced their October sales figures. It was an exciting announcement since Kia is celebrating their best-ever October sales, selling a total of 50,044 units. Kia increased their sales by 12 percent when compared to October 2014. This is the sixth consecutive monthly sales record. Want to know more? Keep reading for more information.

There were two Kia vehicles that sold especially well this month. The first if the Kia Optima and the second if the Kia Soul. The Kia Optima is a midsize sedan that comes in four trim levels – the LX, EX, SX and SXL. This vehicle sold 14,381 units increasing 21 percent when compared to October 2014.

The Kia Soul is a unique midsize SUV-like vehicle that comes in three trim levels – the base, Plus and Exclaim. This vehicle sold 12,246 units which is a 14 percent increase when compared to October 2014.

“Kia is a challenger brand, and our ability to outpace the industry without the benefit of a truck in our lineup speaks volumes about consumers discovering the new Kia,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “With the all-new 2016 Optima arriving in showrooms and the completely redesigned 2017 Sportage making its North American debut at the LA Auto Show this month, this is an exciting time for Kia as we push toward a strong finish to the year.”
