Blake Griffin is back this year to be a Kia spokesperson starring in four TV spots that will run throughout the 2015-2016 NBA season. Blake joined Kia as a spokesperson in 2011 following a famous dunk at a slam dunk contest that included a jump over a Kia Optima. Keep reading for more information.
The TV spots will highlight the Kia Optima midsize sedan – the Official Vehicle of the NBA. In the spots, created by David&Goliath, feature Blake Griffin doing a variety of everyday tasks while playing basketball. People who are experiencing the Kia Optima for the first time, find Blake Griffin performing tasks like reading the newspaper, playing chess, making the ultimate peanut butter and jelly sandwich or acting as a weather forecaster while playing an amazing game of basketball. This is how we picture the Optima – a great combination of vehicle performance and amenity options. This campaign will also include digital and social media elements.
