This list is chosen by Autotrader editorial experts, encouraging consumers to test drive these top vehicles before they make their final decision. Vehicles must be a current of next model year and available to purchase when the awards are announced. They must also score higher than a 3.5 on Autotrader’s five-point scale.
Autotrader honored the 2017 Kia Sportage because “it’s so good at so many things.” They specifically cited the wide range of options when it comes to packages, trims, and pricing. They also liked the look of the vehicle as well as the comfort of the interior.
This vehicle is also an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick +, which means it offers a variety of standard features to keep you and your precious cargo safe. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that produces 240 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.
