The Kia Optima has been a best-selling vehicle in the Kia fleet for years. With the arrival of the 2016 Kia Optima on the horizon, Kia has been working on a new marketing plan to promote it. Christopher Walken (yes, the academy award winner himself) will be joining Kia for this campaign. Want to know more? Keep reading for more information.

The marketing campaign was created by David & Goliath, the Kia advertising agency. It will be made up of two 30-second television spots, one called “Middle C” and the other called “Cookie Cutter”. These spots feature Christopher Walked as the voice over and show the Kia Optima in a crowded field of cars that all look the same. The goal is to show that the Kia Optima is a standout vehicle in any field. This is part of an ongoing campaign that incudes other celebrities like NBA All-Star Blake Griffin and concludes with an appearance during the Super Bowl broadcast.

“Our marketing efforts are built on the core principle of challenging people to discover the exciting new Kia and question everything they think they know about the brand,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “Kia is a recognized industry leader in styling and quality, and like the all-new Optima, these new ads stand out from the competition with the assistance of someone who knows a thing or two about being distinctive.”

We have the Kia Optima at Folsom Lake Kia in the Sacramento area. There are also other new and pre-owned Kia vehicles for you to check out. Our sales representatives can help you find the vehicle that is just right for you. We hope to see you soon!
