Kia is proud to announce their March sales figures. During the month of March Kia sold a total of 58,279 units. There were a few vehicles that celebrated their best month ever as well as huge sales increases over March 2015. Want to know more? Keep reading for more information.
The Kia Forte celebrated their best-ever single month sales. They sold a total of 10,406 units which is an increase of 38 percent. It is available in two trim levels; the LX and EX. This vehicle is packed with features including 5-inch steel wheels, heated mirrors, air-conditioning, full power accessories, a trip computer, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, a USB port and an auxiliary audio jack.
Powering this vehicle is a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 145 horsepower ad 130 lb-ft torque. This is combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
Some of the standard safety features include: antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags
“After outpacing the industry last year and setting a new all-time annual sales record, Kia has carried its momentum into 2016,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “Sell down of the outgoing Sportage exceeded our expectations, and the arrival of the completely redesigned model is the latest reason for customers to discover the ‘New Kia’ as we continue challenging everything people think they know about this brand.”
