The Kia brand is excited to release information about the 2017 Kia Rio. The Kia Rio is available in a four-door body style and a five-door body style. There are a few minor improvements for the 2017 model year. Want to know more? Keep reading for additional information about this vehicle!
For the 2017 model year on both the five-door body style and the four-door body style, Kia engineers have added red and black exterior color choices on the LX trim.
The five-door body style of the 2017 Kia Rio will be available in three trim levels – the LX, EX, and SX. All three will be powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline direct injection engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission that produces 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque. The Active Eco System is standard on all trim levels as well as body-color power heated outside mirrors, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, and a trip computer.
The four-door body style of the 2017 Kia Rio comes in two trim levels – the LX and the EX. Just like the five-door body style, this vehicle also comes with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline direct injection engine. The six-speed manual transmission is standard on the LX trim but a six-speed automatic transmission is optional. Inside the vehicle, you will find standard features like steering-wheel-mounted audio control buttons, a trip computer, and safety features that include rear child-safety door locks, electronic stability control, and hill-start assist control.
