Football season has officially kicked off and with it Kia kicks off a new marketing campaign. The focus of this year’s campaign is the redesigned 2016 Kia Sorento CUV. Keep reading for more information on what you can expect to see from Kia during the 2015-2016 NFL season.

The campaign will be made up of three ad spots: “Participation”, “Great Game” and “Pants”. Kia uses these spots to highlight a feature in the 2016 Kia Sorento while drawing a parallel to a real life football situation – clever!

“Participation” focuses on a father and son as the walk to their Kia Sorento. They’ve just finished their end-of-season ceremony and are totting a participation trophy. You can hear dad’s thoughts on his son’s undefeated season.

“Great Game” highlights the extra cargo room the Kia Sorento has by showing you a family loading football equipment into the vehicle. Mom’s inner thoughts are heard this time about her sons football ability.

“Pants” highlights the All-wheel-drive feature in the new Kia Sorento when a family pulls into a packed parking lot before a football game.

“Sunday Night Football attracts the largest primetime audience and provides an excellent opportunity to connect with football fans and showcase the premium utility experience of Kia’s largest and most capable CUV ever,” said Tim Chaney, vice president of marketing communications, KMA.

The campaign was created by David&Goliath and will play throughout the NFL season.
