This summer Kia announced they had a record setting first half of the year when it came to sales – as a matter of fact it was the best sales performance in company history. This success has continued into the third quarter with more record sales. This is exciting on its own but Kia is also approaching their 20th anniversary in the U.S. There are so many reasons to celebrate. Keep reading for more information on record sales and what’s to come for Kia.

In September alone there were 40,628 units sold, which is up 6.9 percent from the same time last year. Sales were up for the following vehicles: the Kia Forte, the Kia Cadenza, the Kia Sportage, the Kia Sedona and the Kia Soul. The Kia K900 is an entirely new vehicle, and has already sold over 1,000 units to date.

Kia is hopeful that the growth will continue, especially with the all-new 2015 Kia Sedona and the company’s first all-electric Kia vehicle, the 2015 Kia Soul EV, on the horizon. These vehicles are arriving at dealerships as we speak.

Michael Sprague, the executive vice president of sales and marketing at Kia is quoted saying “September capped off the strongest summer selling season for Kia in its 20-year history, and with the launch of two all-new vehicles now underway, we continue to introduce the brand and our outstanding products to new customers who turn to Kia for our world-class quality and design, advanced technology and tremendous value.”
