The awards and accolades just keep coming for Kia vehicles. This time, two Kia vehicles earned top honors from the AutoPacific’s 2016 Ideal Vehicle Awards. The two Kia vehicles honored were the 2016 Kia Optima in the midsize car segment and the 2016 Kia Sedona in the Minivan segment. “We are proud that our vehicles have exceeded the expectations of our customers and that AutoPacific has recognized the Kia Optima and Kia Sedona for the second time this summer with the Ideal Vehicle Awards,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, Kia Motors America. “Kia is constantly evolving and finding ways to suit the needs and wants of our customers. We are thrilled to see the incredibly high level of satisfaction our customers are experiencing with our vehicles.”
So how do you win this accolade? Well first, you have to be a 2015 or 2016 model, and you have to be owned for 90 days. AutoPacific’s Ideal Vehicle Awards Committee will send out over 65,000 surveys that focus on 15 key categories owners would like to change about their vehicle, such as ride and handling, interior storage, safety features, power and acceleration, and technology. If you receive the fewest requested changes, you are named the winner of the Ideal Vehicle Awards.
