The Kia Soul is known not only for being unique in body type (is it a hatchback, wagon or SUV?) but it is also known for its unique marketing campaigns. You know them and love them – the hamsters. And they are back to tell you that the newest Kia Soul is turbocharged. Want to know more about the new marketing campaign? Keep reading for additional information.

The hamsters have been a huge part of the Kia Soul marketing efforts since 2009. David&Goliath created the newest addition of the hamster’s story. The new ad takes place in a hospital and opens with a nurse making way around the maternity ward when she realizes a baby is missing. She recruits other staff to help her find the baby, but all they find is chaos. When they finally find the babe it is on the roof. It jumps off, activates a parachute and lands safely on the street next to the Kia Turbo Soul.

“Turbocharging gives consumers a new and more powerful way to experience one of Kia’s most popular vehicles, and we are announcing its arrival by infusing Kia’s iconic hamster campaign with newfound speed and aggressive style,” said Saad Chehab, vice president, marketing communications, Kia Motors America. “The Kia Soul has never had any trouble standing out from the crowd, and with Motörhead’s ‘Ace of Spades’ as the soundtrack, ‘The Arrival’ delivers hard-charging swagger and a healthy dose of mischief and chaos.”
