Kia recently announced their July 2015 sales figures. They sold a total of 56,331 units which is a 5.0 percent increase year to date. Want to learn more about what contributed to the past months record sales? Keep reading!

Kia is contributing its awesome July sales to a few key factors.

1) The Kia K900 earned the highest overall score in the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. The Kia Cadenza, Kia Soul and the Kia Sportage also topped their segments for this award.

2) The Kia Soul EV expanded its availability into Oregon and Washington

3) The Kia Sedona won the JD Power Sutomotive Performance, Execution and Layout award for the Minivan segment.

“SUVs continue to push the industry, and while Kia Sportage and Kia Sorento were part of that trend, the big news for Kia is that our car line continues to make gains as demonstrated by the Kia Forte compacts’ sharp increase in July,” said Michael Sprague, Chief Operating Officer and EVP, KMA. “Consumer confidence remains high, and with Kia brand’s standing as a proven quality leader we are seeing customers shopping the brand in increasing numbers as our summer sales event continues.”

The AutoPacific VSA’s recognize vehicles that consumers are satisfied with. How do they know? They collect survey responses from over 66,000 owners of new 2015 model year cars and light trucks. Many use this award as a benchmark for satisfaction surveys as it has gained creditability and is now in its 19th year.
