The Kia Rio will be available in three trim levels; the LX, the EX and the SX. There is a long list of technology/entertainment that comes standard on all trims. This includes: steering wheel-mounted controls, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio, USB and auxiliary audio input jacks, and you can control the iPod and MP3 songs with the audio head unit.
Under the hood of the vehicle you will find a 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder engine that can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission or a six speed automatic transmission. You also have the choice to add an active ECO system onto the six-speed automatic transmission that improves fuel economy when it is activated. This combo of engine and transmission returns 138 horsepower.
There are also a number of packages available to upgrade your vehicle. These include: a Power Package, which adds some power amenities, a Convenience Package, which adds amenities like fog lights and power folding side mirrors, the ECO package, which adds idle, stop and go technology and the Premium Package, which adds luxury amenities like heated seats and leather seat trim
