The 2014 Kia Forte is available in three body styles, the sedan, the four-door hatchback and the two-door coupe. The sedan comes in two trim levels; the LX and EX. And the hatchback and the coupe are available in EX and SX trim levels.
Standard features on the LX sedan include air-conditioning, full power accessories, 15-inch steel wheels, height-adjustable driver seat, CD player, satellite radio, USB/iPod/auxiliary input jacks and six-speaker sound system. The LX sedan comes with a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 148 horsepower and 131 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can choose from six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The EX sedan, hatchback and coupe come with everything on the LX plus chrome accents, leather wrapped steering wheel, LED running lights and the Kia UVO voice-activated infotainment system. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that kicks out 173 horsepower and 154 lb-ft of torque. The sedan, hatchback and coupe come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission, but on the coupe you can also get a six-speed manual transmission.
