The base engine is a 2.4-liter that produces 182 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque, this is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. The other engine choice for the SX trim is a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that kicks out 260 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque also with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Standard safety equipment includes antilock disc brakes, active front head restraints, stability and traction control, front-seat airbags and full length side curtain airbags.
