The 2014 Kia Sorento is a midsize crossover SUV with four trim levels. First is the LX, then the EX, followed by the SX and finally the SX-L. The base LX includes features like full power accessories, air-conditioning, tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats, CD player, satellite radio, USB/Auxiliary audio jacks, and a six-speaker sound system.
Powering the 2014 Kia Sorento is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The other engine that is optional on the LX and standard on all other trims levels is the 3.3-liter V6 engine that kicks out 290 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. Standard transmission is a six-speed automatic transmission and standard drive train is front-wheel drive, but you can opt for the all-wheel drive.
Standard safety features include antilock disc brakes, hill-start assist, active front headrests, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, and the first two rows receive side curtain airbags. A rearview camera and rear parking sensors are optional on the LX trim and standard on all EX and SX trim levels.
