The 2014 Kia Rio is a subcompact car that seats five. There are two body styles available a four-door sedan or a four-door hatchback. Each are available in three trim levels the LX, the EX and the SX. Standard equipment on the base LX are height adjustable driver seat, heated power mirrors, trip computer, air conditioning, tilt-only steering wheel, four speaker sound system with satellite radio, auxiliary audio jack, an iPod/UBS audio interface and CD player.
Powering the 2014 Kia Rio is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft or torque. This is combined with a six-speed manual transmission which is standard on the LX, or a six-speed automatic transmission which is standard on the EX and SX, optional on the LX. If you get the automatic transmission on the LX you also receive standard features like power windows, power locks and keyless entry.
