There are lots of ways to say something is exciting. Now that Kia has introduced 2015 Kia Soul EV earlier this month, we’re quite fond of the word “electrifying.”
The zero-emission, all-electric 2015 Kia Soul EV joins the company’s other popular environmentally conscious fuel saving vehicle in the Kia lineup, the 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid. Sacramento-area drivers have environmentally conscious options to consider when they visit us here at Folsom Lake Kia!
The introduction of the 2015 Kia Soul EV helps demonstrate the company’s commitment to offering vehicles that feature lots of advanced technology help reduce dependence on nonrenewable, limited resources like fossil fuels such as oil and gasoline. Thanks to its incorporation of bio-friendly components and materials, the 2015 Kia Soul EV received environmental validation from Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL). Powered by a lithium polymer battery, the 2015 Kia Soul EV is expected to offer a range of 80 to 100 miles.
“The new Soul EV is at the forefront of Kia’s ‘Clean Mobility’ program and will offer an even more environmentally friendly option to our customers when it goes on sale later this year… The Soul EV retains the fun and funky style as well as the packaging efficiency and utility that have made the gasoline-powered Soul such a huge hit with consumers. And to that winning combination it adds useable real-world range and multiple charging options, making it the perfect EV for everyone,” said Orth Hedrick, Kia Motors America VP of Product Planning.
We’re very excited about the electric future of the 2015 Kia Soul EV. It’s the first electric vehicle offered by the company in the U.S. and is scheduled to arrive in selected markets later this year.
