The first quarter of 2016 was the best first quarter sales in the history of Kia! It kept that momentum going into April, celebrating the best April ever. During the month, Kia sold a total of 56,508 units which is a 6.1 percent increase when compared to April 2015. Want to know more about which Kia vehicles sold the best this past month? The Kia Soul sold the most units, 11,517 to be exact. This is up about 100 units from April 2014. The Kia Sportage sales had a major increase of 78.9 percent. This is mainly thanks to the all-new 2017 Kia Sportage arriving at lots last month. We have more information on what you can expect from this vehicle in a later post this month. The Kia Forte also had a nice increase in sales, jumping 35.6 percent in the month of April. This vehicle was a top seller last month as well. It is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine combined with a six speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission, either combo produces 145 horsepower and 130 lb-ft torque.
