Kia recently released their sales figures for the month of November. They celebrated their best November ever as well as sold their six millionth vehicle in the United States. Overall, Kia sold 45,553 vehicles during the month of November. This is a 1.4 percent sales increase when compared to November 2014 when they sold 44,936 vehicles. The Year-to-Date sales number is up 6.9 percent – 571,577 vehicles sold this year, compared to 534,647 vehicles over the same period last year.
The two Kia vehicles that led the pack this month were the Kia Optima selling 13,048 vehicles and the Kia Soul selling 10,045 vehicles. The Kia Sorento, Kia Sportage, Kia K900, and the Kia Cadenza all increased their sales from November 2014.
“Kia has outpaced the industry all year, and with our ‘Holidays On Us’ sales event in place throughout November customers visited our showrooms in record numbers to discover the new Kia,” said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. “Kia continues to grow and mature at a rapid rate, and surpassing the six million vehicles mark as we push toward a strong finish to the year is the latest example of how far this brand has come in a very short period of time.”
