There are so many updates for the 2017 model! To start, there is a newly designed front fascia, two different grille options– the Diamond Butterfly grille and the Intaglio grille– new LED technology within the “piano key” taillights, and chrome garnishes. Inside, you have a half-inch more legroom for rear passengers and two more inches of headroom. The dashboard is now a wraparound format that widens the dash into the door panels.
Kia engineers have made some structural changes to the 2017 Kia Cadenza as well. This vehicle is composed of more than 50 percent Advanced High Strength Steel. The brand has also added a driver’s knee airbag that increases the number of airbags to nine. Other features that keep you safe include Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Smart Blind Spot Detection System.
“The new Kia Cadenza adds an extra dose of excitement to the large-car segment with its striking looks and premium refinements,” said Orth Hedrick, vice president of product planning, Kia Motors America. “The Kia Cadenza cabin has been improved in nearly every way, but it’s underneath where the Kia Cadenza truly shines with a stiffer and lighter chassis, eight-speed transmission, and vastly improved driving dynamics.”
